We are a team of two artists from very different disciplines and cultural backgrounds. Louise is a performance and multi-media artist born in Denmark, educated in Denmark and the US. Po Shu is a visual artist born in Hong Kong, educated in Rome, Italy. Our common interest in site-specific works led us to collaborate since 1999.

Our collaboration pushes the continuous dissolution and metamorphosis of our individual operating paradigms, and the integration of creative methods from disciplines far beyond the arts and humanities.

Typically, we begin by synthesizing the constraints and possibilities inherent in a place, by poking at the layers of meanings that infuse the ecology of a site. Our curiosity towards how a community weaves the natural and social realities of their particular environment helps to give clues that inspire our pursuit.

For the last nine years, our focus has been to create works that are tangible mechanisms, by which the public can use as tools to join us in exploring hidden aspects of a locality, crossing into the roles as creators of the content and context of the works.
