| EXHIBITION AT PAPIRBREDDEN, DRAMMEN, NORWAY August 21st - 31st, 2008 LIBRARY Installation Title: Speaking of Water Media: Mixed Media Characteristics: Public generated. The public will be the sole operator and generator of the content of the artwork. Concept: It is inspired by the library activities itself and the River Festival. Implementation: The artists set up a table with a speaker and a microphone. On the table lay some books from the library, all about water, ranging from scientific investigations to poetries. The public can choose to read any text from any book about water into the microphone, and generate unexpected wave pattern dances of the water over the speaker. Media: Mixed media Characteristics: A Tour of Drammen Concept: Inspired by a tourist approach to know a place in a limited amount of time. As a tourist, sometimes we plan the locations of interests, and sometimes we are just wondering around. But most likely, we ask for directions. Here is where we begin, asking for directions, and wondering where we are? |
