A few times I forgot to equip myself with repellant spray and insect bite cream. Even the sound of them hits my raw nerve, but mosquitoes are not my enemy. They are just here to remind me of my aggressive and compassionate instincts. Evolutionary conditionings, all so naturally so, and all so necessary so. And smack! There is blood in my hand!
